A History of Customer ServiceAlloway Electric Company was founded in 1924. Pictured here is Richard M. Alloway, and his partner Delbert Hulse, standing in front of the company during the 1960's. You may recognize the Egyptian Theater, part of which was home to our company. Alloway operated at the corner of 15th and Main St, Boise, by Richard Alloway, and Richard Petty. Later, Mr. Petty relocated the company to the corner of 15th and Grove. Steve Batten, who began with the company in 1982, purchased the company from Mr. Petty in 1997, and eventually sold the retail operation, known as Alloway Lighting. |
